What data does Storos access?
Read-only access to sales, orders, products, inventory, customers, and locations via Shopify's official OAuth. We never modify, write to, or delete anything in your Shopify account.
How long does setup take?
Connecting your Shopify takes about 2 minutes. After that, Storos syncs your data — this can take longer depending on your store's history and data volume. You'll see your scan results once syncing completes.
Which Shopify plans work?
All of them — Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. Some features like staff-level attribution require Advanced or Plus. Storos detects your plan and adjusts automatically.
Do I need Shopify POS, or does this work with online-only Shopify stores?
Storos is built for retailers using Shopify POS. Some monitoring works with Shopify data generally, but the product is designed around store operations and multi-location retail. If you run physical locations on Shopify POS, you're in the right place.
Is my data secure?
Encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it for anything other than powering your Storos experience.
How does the free store scan work?
When you connect, Storos syncs and analyzes your historical Shopify data, then surfaces exceptions you may have missed — revenue drift, discount irregularities, refund patterns, inventory gaps. It's a real scan of your actual store, not a demo. You keep the results.
What if Storos doesn't find anything?
That means your operations are clean — which is a good thing. Storos keeps monitoring daily, so if something changes next week or next month, you'll know.
Can I use Storos with just one store?
Yes. All detection works with a single location. Cross-store features like benchmarking and inventory rebalancing need at least two.
How is this different from Shopify's analytics?
Shopify gives you reports. You check them, interpret them, catch problems yourself. Storos does the watching — and tells you when something needs your attention.
Will Storos slow down my store?
No. We use Shopify's API in the background. No code on your storefront, no scripts, zero impact on customer experience.
Do you integrate with anything else?
Currently Shopify POS only. QuickBooks/Xero, workforce tools, and marketing platforms are on the roadmap.
Is this a Shopify app?
Storos connects to Shopify but isn't just another app. It's a standalone platform that starts with Shopify and will expand across your business tools over time.
